Murwillumbah…..Heart of the Tweed.
In 2001 the Chamber of commerce and its directors appointed Barking Toad Creative Advertising to write a marketing plan for the Government subsidies allocated for regional centers that are bypassed by new highway construction.
At the time it was feared that the town would suffer with the lack of passing traffic and the ongoing tourism. As a result Barking Toad created a PR based campaign that was not only adopted by State Government but also RTA in the form of subsidies to be allocated for the purposes of advertising this regional center.
Since this time the campaign has evolved but the common theme is used.
